My friends Matt and Tyler from Capture Studios flew in from Minneapolis on Monday and for the last three days we have been making my first EVER music video.

I know, right?! It’s crazy. The video is for a new song called “This Ain’t Rock N Roll” that we plan to release this summer. I can’t wait to see it all come together and to share it with you guys. 

I was really hoping my music video debut would happen while Carson Daly was still hosting TRL, but we were a little late on that. 

I had no idea how much went into making one of these things happen! We were going pretty much non-stop for 2.5 days to make a video for a song thats 3.5 minutes long. I can’t imagine how much MORE goes into making one with an actual budget with professional actors and stuff.

My friends were kind enough and brave enough to be casted in the video which made it a blast to film.  It was also conveniently quite a but cheaper that way too. I called Rachel McAdams to see if she wanted to be the “video girl” but the her rates were a little steep for us…

Her loss.

P.S. Please forgive me for how much I look like a jerk in that second picture. I had to post it because I have never looked so Hollywood in my life.  Don’t worry, I’m not getting used to it.
