After my Grandfather died, my Grandma dated a man named Tony who was a limousine driver. When Tony heard that I wanted to play guitar, he surprised me by giving me his 1982 Alvarez acoustic. I was 14 and ecstatic. I immediately fell in love with writing songs, and that love sparked a wild stamped of unpredictable adventure in my life.
I always want to have the next few miles of my life charted out, but God has (inconveniently for me) designed a life that only allows me to see my next step. He requires me to trust Him with the rest as He promises that He has it under control. While walking in this faith is immensely difficult, I’m stubbornly learning that it’s what it means to be found.
If you feel lost, you’re probably just becoming.
