I first heard this song on a mix CD that Mr. Casagranda, an English teacher at my high school, made for me in 10th grade. Since then, it has been one of those songs that always comes back around in my life and fills me with hope. I feel like I’ve grown up with it.
Although the song is timeless, please keep in mind that this music video was made when Mario Lemuiex still played for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Bill Clinton had just been elected President. Just listen to the lyric and feel the truth. It’s rich with goodness.
